Ranger Profiles

T.E.F. is a small organization that employees around thirty engineers, ten archaeologists, three cooks, five secretaries, and two medics on-site, in addition to the C.E.O. and the five Rangers. Since their base of operations is so large compared to the number of staff, the building includes internal dormitories/apartments in addition to its various labs and operation rooms, although most of the staff live at homes in Stone Canyon, CA and drive to the base for work. The Rangers, having all moved to Stone Canyon from locations between 75 and 150 miles away, live on-base in seperate apartments.

The Rangers, like the rest of the T.E.F. employees, are allowed to wear anything from informal wear on up while at work, though clothes with questionable logos/pictures is not allowed. When on expeditions, the Rangers wear sleeved or sleeveless safari jackets, a solid color t-shirt in their Ranger color, khaki breakaway pants, and hiking boots. Recently, however, he has left the Guard and come back home; none of his family is sure why. Whatever his reasons though, he certainly had no objections to joining T.E.F. when they asked him if he wanted to sign on as a Ranger.
  • Personality: Somewhat of a loner; only a few fellow members of the National Guard were really able to pierce his shields. He conflicts with people a lot in his efforts to be the best person he can be, sometimes by stepping over others to get there. Dylan has trouble working with Nico thanks to the natural enmity between the UN and the US military.

She steadily worked her way up the support ladder and was serving as a member of a team of shocktroopers that Captain Mitchell had created for all-around, low-danger purposes, when she was approached by T.E.F. to join their new Ranger team.
  • Personality: Heather is an outgoing girl, but her years as a member of a practical army has refined her ability to know when to get serious. When she's in 'battle mode', friendliness shuts entirely down while she puts tactics and fighting at the forefront of her mind, almost to the point of split personality. Outside of battle mode, however, she's what essentially amounts to a "snarky nutcase", as Simon once put it.
